Who is behind the journey
A local team, from Rome to Riviera Cristallina
Riviera Cristallina was founded in 2018 by Filippo Strano, its Founder, to bring travellers into a part of southern Italy that few people know, with the people who live there. We work from Rome and Riviera Cristallina. Local English-speaking guides and tour leaders will accompany the journey.

Are international flights included?
No. Each traveller books their own flight to Rome.
Is the airport transfer included?
No. The meeting point is in central Rome and the organised services start there.
Where does the journey start and end?
It starts in central Rome, at Bar Flamingo, Piazza Bologna 51/52, on 20 May at 17:30. It ends in Rome after the farewell lunch on 30 May. Choose your return flight only after the final operating time has been confirmed.
Which meals are included?
Breakfasts, lunches, dinners, street food and the food experiences listed in the itinerary.
Are drinks included?
Set menus include soft drinks and a selection of wine. Drinks are not unlimited.
In which language is the trip?
The journey is accompanied in English, with English-speaking guides at the main visits.
How long is the trip?
11 days and 10 nights, from 20 to 30 May 2027.
How many people take part?
The group has a maximum of 25 travellers.
I am travelling alone. Is there a single supplement?
No. You get your own room at no extra cost, subject to availability.
How fit do I need to be?
The program includes a lot of walking, sometimes on uneven ground, for example in Pompeii and at Pietra Cappa. A normal, good level of fitness is enough.
How do I book?
You can secure your place with a deposit of €1,000 per person. The launch price is €2,990 per person for the first six confirmed bookings. After that, the price will be €3,190 per person.
When is the balance due?
The balance must be paid by 5 May 2027.
What currency will I pay in?
Prices and payments are in euros. Your card provider converts the amount into your currency.
